From the CEO’s Desk: What Passover Offers

As Passover approaches, my mind drifts back to childhood memories – the warmth of the kitchen filled with the intoxicating aroma of my mother’s matzah ball soup, the table groaning under the weight of a feast prepared with love, and the joyous chaos of a multi-generational family gathering.

Passover, however, is more than just a delicious meal. It’s a powerful reminder of the importance of family, tradition, and the simple act of gathering around the same table. In the midst of our busy lives, these moments of togetherness create a space for bonding and memory-making that transcends generations.

The Seder, the centerpiece of Passover, is not just a recounting of the Exodus story. It’s a ritual that fosters curiosity and connection. We encourage our children to ask the age-old question, “Why is this night different from all other nights?” These questions become the foundation for lifelong learning and a deeper understanding of our heritage.

But equally as important, the Seder reminds us that within our families, we are surrounded by a wealth of knowledge and experience. It teaches us to look to those who came before us for guidance, wisdom, and a sense of belonging.

As we approach this Passover, I encourage you to cherish these moments with your loved ones as you build the intergenerational bridge.

Let the breaking of matzah symbolize the breaking free from the routine, allowing for meaningful conversations and a renewed connection.

Wishing you and your families a joyous and meaningful Passover.

Warmest Regards,

Shari
