Senior Living Placement Consultant- Educating and guiding seniors and/or their families to find the ideal senior living option based on needs, wishes and budget.

Assessment- conduct an in-depth discovery process to determine:

  • Budget
  • Payment options-private pay; long-term care insurance; VA aid and attendance; Medicaid
  • Care needs- level of care needed- skilled nursing-long term care and/or short-term rehabilitation, assisted living- special needs/requests -medication management, hands on care-assistance with activities of daily living which generally includes bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, transferring and continence; Memory Care-specialized services needed due to cognitive decline, independent living, and continuing care retirement options.

A list of appropriate living options will be presented by the placement consultant and will be thoroughly discussed and narrowed down.  After determining the 3 top choices, the client and their family can tour the communities they are considering.  The placement specialist can set up tours if needed.

After the tour, the placement consultant will make sure the clients have all the information needed to feel informed and make a decision.  Once a decision is made, the senior living consultant can assist to advocate for moving incentives and the best price possible.  Resources to assist with a move can be provided.
