Shannon Thill

Shannon Thill is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and has been working in the mental health field for over 20 years. While working as a Crisis Counselor at the largest community mental health center in Broward County, Shannon gained vast experience with adults struggling with severe and chronic mental illness. During her years there she became proficient at assessing, diagnosing, counseling individuals and their families, as well as providing referrals to community resources.  

She has worked with the geriatric population specifically for the past 5 years. First, she worked as a psychotherapist providing in-home counseling to homebound seniors. Then, as a Medical Social Worker assisting those struggling with dementia, mental health and medical conditions that impede their ability to function at an optimum level by successfully connecting them with resources and counseling while displaying patience, empathy, and compassion.  

Shannon enjoys her work with seniors. She has a desire to provide competent and compassionate care to every client and bring understanding and peace during what can be a confusing or challenging time.
