Kelly McDermott is a registered nurse with 40 years of experience; including both Geriatric and Pediatric populations. While caring for ailing elderly relatives, Kelly knew early on that nursing was her “calling”. Kelly’s career began in Michigan as a certified nursing assistant caring for the elderly in their homes. After graduating from Nazareth Catholic College with her Bachelors in Science in Nursing she worked in a variety of areas after that such as PICU, NICU, Pediatrics, Trauma Flight Team, Organ Donation Team and Hospice. Kelly continued to work with home health agencies as a RN care manager in both pediatric and geriatric homes for clients in California and Florida.
In 2001 with the birth of her son in California she moved back to South Florida to open and run her own nurse registry called Kellys Angels serving the Boca Raton, Delray Beach and West Palm Beach for the next 20 years. She oversaw the managing of the business and knowing all her caregivers and clients on a daily basis. In 2019 she sold the business, continued to do what she loves in helping people and began working as the Executive Director of a home health agency, overseeing 200 clients/caregivers cases for the next 2 years. Kelly uses compassion and intuition when guiding her clients through the next stage of their lives while maintaining their dignity and quality of life.
